great fights and you got to see some off the freighters in the stand afterwards. the host and commentators were very interactive with the crowd. not for kids
As a fight fan and regular watcher of BKFC and UFC - I was very excited to attend a fight irl. The disappointment I experienced has carried over to watching events on tv First, you would expect the announcers (That we, as fans, listen to and watch every single event) would introduce themselves to and acknowledge the crowd..They don't. You have to find them ringside hudled down for the camera. The very least they could do is announce themselves and wave at the crowd. But they don't, this is probably due to the fact that you won't be able to hear the announcers throughout the show or hardly know what's even going on. Second, the screens that you have to watch are too high up - there needs to be another giant screen that you can watch in order to see what's going on (Take a tip from WWE here) Finally, depending on where you sit - you may have to deal with a camera man blocking your view the entire time. Regardless, the announcer is never talking to the crowd and always has his back to the crowd (for the cameras) The only reason I gave it 2 stars is for the cheaper (than UFC) tickets (as long as you're not sitting on the floor and having to look up the entire time) and the fact that other fight organizations have the same issues. This is a review that I could likely give for the UFC as well (Though I have never been to a UFC event) - The UFC (From videos I have seen) demonstrate the same lack of care and communication to the audience. MMA and fight events need work. And as a fan, I will NEVER attend another event until these issues are fixed.
Best combat sport in the market right now! Great competition, Class Act Fighters, and lots of action.
