In her last days, she just wanted to be held and rocked. Her love language was touch. Through her affection you never had to wonder what you meant to her. Moments like these last forever. Cuddles while she was still ok and were truly real. As sad as it was, I’m so happy I got to be there for her to lean on, to carry her, to cuddle with and to help her rest. Her being vulnerable and feeling safe to say, do, be and act how ever she needed meant the world for me. This week is tough. Her mind was good but her body was quitting. Thanks for the place to vent and honor her??
