My Judo brown belt test ?? with @jflojudo Yesterday was a huge milestone for me in Martial Arts. I have been one of those people that wants multiple black belts in multiple martial arts by the time I’m 80 years old, but I want them to be useful and legitimate martial arts that I will actually use in fighting. Ive been wrestling since I was 12 and competed on the National, world and Olympic hopeful level, I was given a “black belt” in Muay Thai from world champion @sakmongkolkalek which is not traditionally a belted sport, so it doesn’t feel like those get to count, as much as train, love, use and respect these combat sports. Along with being able to use martial arts as an avenue to set goals, I’ve had a rather crazy life and staying in activities has really given me a strong healthy way to cope with things.
