Round three had hard strikes by both before Fleming scored a takedown to again control position and work GNP while Moore tried for ankle and leg locks until Fleming landed an accidental back of the head strike. On the restart Moore threw a spinning kick that missed and the bell ended the round. The scorecards were read and the winner by unanimous decision was James Fleming.
