From my hubby: My Great Dane, Elvis VS a Big Bull Moose in Wasilla, Alaska - I woke up to Elvis making a racket just before 4am on November 18th. I checked our security cameras and looked out a few windows, but couldn't see anything. I thought someone may have made their way up the driveway as one of our motion lights had triggered, so I figured I would let Elvis out to check things out. Within a few seconds of me letting him out, I heard him snarling and barking, just plain letting someone/something have it. Then, I caught a glimpse of him and this big bull moose through one of our windows as they trailed off into the dark. Elvis nipped that the hind legs and chased him down our hill before giving up chase and coming back to safety. I'm very fortunate that he wasn't hurt considering that moose can be very dangerous.
