Jonathan Guzman faced Danny Aquino on October 10, 2015 at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, Massachusetts. The scheduled 10-round bout was broadcast live on NBCSN as part of the Premier Boxing Champions series. There was no shortage of action in this fight from the very beginning. Despite Guzman's unblemished 19-0 record, Aquino came out aggressive and fearless in the first round putting up a good fight. By the second round, however, the tables had turned. Guzman put Aquino on the canvas twice in round 2, but Aquino stayed tough and survived the round. In fact, he survived all the way through the 8th round. In the 9th round, however, Guzman landed a destructive right hand followed by a left uppercut which eventually resulted in a TKO victory for Guzman. He remains undefeated with 20 wins, all by KO.
