This painting of @jonnybones is part of my newest series of paintings titled “Work in Progress”. It is a purposefully “unfinished” portrait that allows us to see him in a different light than we usually see him. This encourages us to try and find the beauty within the imperfection, which is symbolic to all of our lives because nobody in this world is perfect…but that is OKAY!! When we understand that and stop focusing on “perfection”, we start to love ourselves and we begin to focus on progression instead. And that is where we can make a difference in our lives, and in turn, make a positive impact on the world around us…just like Jon Jones
