Molly McCann is fighting Erin Blanchfield at UFC 281 on November 12th. Molly will have the striking edge but Blanchfield has really good wretler and a really good ground game, so stylistically this is a bad matchup for Molly which so it's a bit surprising the UFC even put her in this fight because it looked like they wanted her to keep winning as she is getting a lot of hype with her pairing with Paddy on these cards in London. Maybe they are trying build up Blanchfield as a star at flyweight because they see her potential in that division. Molly can win as long as she keeps it on the feet, but Blanchfield does have a strong wrestling base and got 8 takedowns in her fight with Miranda Maverick, which set a flyweight record. And fhere was some talk of Molly fighting Miranda Maverick, and people were like no that's a bad matchup because Miranda's a really good wrestler and has a good ground game, but Erin Blanchfield whooped Miranda Maverick pretty badly, 30-27 30-27 30-27.
