The last time Lawler fought was at the end of July 2016, when he was knocked out by Tyron Woodley. He was supposed to fight Cowboy in November at UFC 205, but pulled out because he wanted more time to recover from the knockout. Cowboy went on to knock out Matt Brown the next month but was stopped in his last fight vs Jorge Masvidal at the end of January. That TKO made Dana White force Cowboy to take a break. Robbie Lawler left American Top Team, but King Mo assumes he will return, Robbie was seen sparring at the Combat Club, where Henri Hooft and several former Blackzilians train. Werdum vs Overeem is another expected fight for UFC 213, which takes place on July 8th the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
