UFC's Looking to have Stephen Wonderboy Thompson take on Shavkat Rakhmanov next. Some fans are mad about this think this is a big mismatch and and they're doing Wonderboy dirty. But the other side of the argument is, well Wonderboy is ranked #7 in the world and Shavkat is #11, if you're #7 you should be able to beat #11, and if you can't, then you shouldn't be ranked #7, so get out of the way. New guys need to move up the rankings, and just like champions have to defend their title, fighters need to defend their ranking. And also people are acting like Wonderboy is a defenseless infant. Between MMA and kickboxing he's had 80 fights, he's fought some of the best in the world, fought for the title twice and is ranked #7. So he can handle himself in there, he may lose, but he can handle himself in there. And if he can't, well then he doesn't belong at #7.
