Bryan Battle went to battle with Sean Strickland in some sparring rounds. Battle was 3-0 in the UFC until he fought Rinat Fakhretdinov in his last fight and took an L via decision. Strickland has 2 wins and 2 losses in the last year. Beat Hermansson, lost to Pereira and Cannonier and just beat Imavov a couple weeks back. They could have Strickland fight Whittaker next. UFC wanted to have Whittaker fight Costa but Costa declined because he's not satisfied with his contract. Whittaker has already fought Cannonier, Vettori, and Brunson, so that just leaves Strickland as the only guy he hasn't fought. Adesanya and Pereira will probably fight again next. Vettori is fighting Dolidze. Gilbert Burns is upset that Belal Muhammad is ranked above him at #4, Burns is #5. They may end up fighting cuz, Edwards vs Usman is set, Colby vs Khamzat was what the UFC was looking to put together. Which leaves Belal and Burns to fight. The winner of that will win the coveted #4 position in the division.
