Competing in front of his hometown fans, “The Ferocious” found himself in trouble early on in the first frame as Sung Jong Lee took him down and transitioned to his back. Though the South Korean grappling specialist was not able to lock in a submission then, he was relentless and targeted Kelly’s legs for the rest of the round. It was more of the same in the second frame as Sung went for the legs again. This time, however, the Filipino veteran was able to reverse it and gain top position. From there, the Team Lakay superstar rained down heavy ground and pound which prompted the referee to call a stop to the match.
