Ben Rothwell is an example of the tough fighter that can’t be broken. When he was a kid he almost got blind and was in coma for 11 days, then he got into the terrible car crash where his friend died.
All this only make Ben stronger than ever. He has been fighting in pro MMA for the last 20 years, he fought 51 times and he still has no intentions to finish his professional career, because he has the next fight in UFC already scheduled for him very soon.
He managed to knock out such opponents with names as Alistair Overeem and Brandon Vera, submitted Josh Barnett, won against Matt Mitrione, Brendan Schaub, Gilbert Yvel, Ricco Rodriguez and many others.
Rothwell fought in many countried including Russia. Back on November 15, 2002 young giant nicknamed Big Ben came to M-1: Russia vs. the World 4 event, having 13 victories and only two defeats in his resume.
