In what turned out to be a striking contest, Ali Walsh displayed his boxing pedigree — he is the grandson of former boxing heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali, after all — and forced the referee to stop the action at the 1:42 mark of Round 1 thanks to a thunderous right hook. While talking with Sherdog about his performance, the Las Vegas, Nevada, native confessed he would have loved to prove he’s more than a striker by wrestling a bit with his foe in front of the home city crowd but preferred to take home the victory the moment it presented itself to him.
