Feels a little strange to be so happy and healthy moving up in weight classes, but to get used to not being so shredded in the mirror. That gift of being able to weigh in 10 lbs heavier as well as walk around nourished and fed has been amazing, especially having come up from being considered a big bantamweight and a HUGE flyweight. The scale makes me much happier now seeing how I feel so good throughout camp. I still have a big cut ahead of me for next Thursday but I have to say, moving up to featherweight feels right, and the days of having to stay under 10% body fat can kiss my (bigger) ass!????. I’m feeling strong and healthy, and that is true freedom to me. Happy to come from where I’ve been, even happier to be excited about where I’m at. #fightlife #teamalphacat #bellator #september11
