My dogs getting me off my ass and outside multiple times everyday feels like such a burden when I’m feeling down, low energy or lazy, but I will say, every time I take them out and get that fresh air, movement and sunlight (plus wearing them out and seeing them happy) it can really turn my day around. Somedays it’s the things that force us to move forward that have the biggest impact. Having responsibility, knowing you’re going to be held accountable... it can feel like pressure while simultaneously it can very much be a gift. When you’re having a hard time it’s ok to know and be motivated that you are only doing some things for the sake of others. Let being needed by your dogs, kids, peers, family, jobs etc. mean that you’re important. Strength is strength and can come from wherever it needs to to get you through a moment. Self love and care is the goal but can be a lot of work some days. #ifyoucouldonlysee
