However, there haven’t been not so many successful karate fighters in MMA in the recent years. Today we are going to show you pro MMA debut of another fighter from karate world. Vasily Kozlov fought in MMA for the first time on August 25, 2018 at M-1 Challenge event. Being just 21-year old, Kozlov already managed to win the multiple kudo tournaments. He trained in Alexander Nevsky team with coach Eduard Shirobokov. Vasily’s opponent was 10 years older and has much bigger MMA experience. Jurand Lisiecki fought many times in amateur MMA and won silver medal at the national amateur MMA championship in Poland.
