Askar Askarov was close to a title shot in the UFC flyweight division, but had trouble making weight, and pulled
out of his fight with Brandon Royval in October due to weight management issues, a couple weeks later he asked to be released
by the UFC to deal with health issues. Now he's signed with ACA. That's the organization he was with where before the UFC and
he gained attention and was called up by the UFC. He won
and defended the ACA flyweight title 2 times. Askarov has a record of 14-1-1, the one loss was a close decision to KKF
the draw was against Brandon Moreno, the current UFC flyweight champ
UFC going to The Theater at Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas for the first time for this event.
Seating is a bit different, mostly just facing one side, tickets range from $180 to $1500 dollars. That might also be
the show money for the prelim fighters.
