Alexandre Pantoja (26-5) won the Ultimate Fighting Championship flyweight title with a hard-fought split decision win over Brandon Moreno (21-7) at UFC 290 in July. The newly crowned champ was given a hero’s welcome in his hometown of Arraial do Cabo, Brazil, riding atop a fire truck as fans thronged the streets. “The Cannibal” recently weighed in on how his life has been altered after becoming a UFC champion. The champ likes inspiring people with small acts of kindness, such as a visit to a jiu-jitsu gym full of white belts, or just letting everyone touch the flyweight strap. ?
