July 21, 2018 - Traditional anniversary event M-1 Challenge 95: Battle in the mountains took place in republic of Ingushetia, Russia. One of the fights in the fightcard was the clash between two young talents Edward “Ninja” Massey (USA) and Mate Sanikidze (Georgia). American fighter Edward Massey was SFC and IFC champion. Also he won the kickboxing titles in the multiple organizations. All four of his professional MMA fights went to the judge decisions, he won in three of them. Mate Sanikidze was younger than his opponent, but he already had the titles of the national Georgian champion in kudo and MMA. Also he was 3-0 as a pro in MMA, two victories were by KOs. Young fighters with solid striking base - kudo and kickboxing - and big motivation to make successful M-1 debut.
